Meribel Chalet 1 is 310m² and sleeps 14 guests in 6 individually-decorated bedrooms, located on the 1st and 2nd floors and bearing the names of the World’s most famous peaks. The two upper rooms are in the eaves with a maximum head height of 1.85m. Ideal for younger guests, this upper area includes a chill-out space with sofa, bean bags and flat-screen TV. Bedrooms 1-4 on the 1st floor can be configured with double or twin beds and have walk-in showers or bath.
Gather around a magnificent stone fireplace to relax on the comfortable seating and enjoy lively conversation and an aperitif after a day on the slopes of the iconic Three Valleys.
This room is particularly convivial with 2 leather and fabric corner sofas, club armchairs and pouffes. There’s plenty of space for the whole group to relax, with areas for reading, watching the HD TV, or perhaps enjoying a classic card game on the coffee table (built by the owner!)
A large farmhouse door separates the lounge from the dining room. A bar is also at your disposal for some lively apres-ski in the comfort of your chalet!
The Dining Room:
The huge farmhouse-style kitchen and dining room is a perfect communal area for sharing tales from the slopes over a fondue or raclette, or perhaps you’ll take advantage of using our recommended chef who can prepare fine-dining meals whilst you relax?
The kitchen is well equipped for catering for 14 guests.
This beautiful south-facing 23 m2 double bedroom is clad in reclaimed wood, and opens onto a private balcony equipped with 2 deckchairs and a low table. Annapurna also comprises a small desk, a large wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, and ensuite bathroom with WC.
This 15 m2 double bedroom is beautifully set off by its magnificent reclaimed Savoie doors. It comprises a shower room with Italian style walk-in shower and WC, a large wardrobe and a small desk. Ararat has a cosy and welcoming feel and a skylight adds a sense of brightness.
This east-facing 16 m2 double bedroom has a cosy feel with quirky original wood furnishings. The rustic mountain feel is complemented by the gorgeous modern ensuite shower room with Italian style walk-in shower and WC. The room also comprises a wardrobe, small desk and a seating on the balcony (2 deckchairs and low table) which is shared with the Aconcagua bedroom.
This east-facing 17m2 double bedroom clad in local wood and has an ensuite shower room, with Italian style walk-in shower, basin and WC. The room also includes a wardrobe and a small desk and shares a balcony with the Andes bedroom next door which is equipped with 2 deckchairs and a low table.
The Everest bedroom is a large 27 m2 space, flexible enough to sleep up to four people with full sized single beds that can be converted into 2 singles and 1 double if required.
Located beneath the roof of the chalet and accessed by a fabulous original staircase designed using reclaimed wooden ladders, the two bedrooms of Everest and Elbrouz share a shower room (on the first floor) and a fantastic ‘den’ with a TV corner with flatscreen TV, DVD player, pouffes and a low table.

Elbrouz is located in the eaves beneath the roof of the chalet and thanks to the large skylight, there are views to the east of La Saulire’s peaks from the bed! At 23 m2 there is plenty of room for storage.
Accessed by a fabulous original staircase created of reclaimed wood, Elbrouz shares a shower room (on the first floor) with Everest as well as an atmospheric ‘den’ with a TV corner with flatscreen TV, DVD player, pouffes and a low table.

A huge part of the appeal of Meribel Chalet 1 is the hot tub and Scandinavian sauna. Sheltered by folding windows and overlooking the snowy mountains, let the balneotherapy jets massage you as you unwind in the hot tub. The chalet’s 6-person sauna is located in a log cabin which makes for a fabulously Nordic feel, especially with the ‘kota’ or Scandinavian fire-pit, ideal for enjoying an aperitif or to cook a BBQ.
The chalet’s outside space also includes a large, south/west facing terrace with teak dining furniture and a gas BBQ with hot plate. Make the most of those sunny afternoons and soak up some rays and those unimpeded mountain views.
