This fabulously luxurious chalet pays homage to the local wood and stone which are combined sympathetically here in reclaimed materials to create a state-of-the-art property tucked away in the picturesque hamlet of Meribel Le Raffort.
The rustic chic interior showcases bespoke metalwork from a local artist who has created handmade furniture and lighting to complement the vintage leather and polished natural wood furniture. Designed for guests to experience the ultimate in ski holiday relaxation, there’s a cosy cinema room, stunning feature fireplace with plenty of comfortable seating, and a huge spa area with current flow swimming pool, sensory shower, hammam, sauna and therapy room with massage table.
With 320m2 and 6 large bedrooms, the chalet sleeps up to 14 guests, with an additional two beds available in the TV and film room. All bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage, en-suite bathroom facilities and flat-screen TVs. Luxurious linen and towels are provided and there is WiFi throughout.
The Open-Plan Kitchen : is equipped with state-of-the-art household appliances and plenty of storage. A fabulous kitchen with a beautiful waxed concrete worktops, moroccan lighting and a large pantry area with extra storage space. The kitchen equipment has been selected for its quality and ability to cater for large groups. The breakfast bar has beautiful leather stools, where guests can enjoy chatting to the cook with an aperitif!
The Dining Area : Beautiful dining spaces: inside with fabulous mountain views or al fresco on the spacious terrace. The open plan dining area can seat up to 24 if required, whether for inviting extra guests or for special corporate or family occasions. With gorgeous Moroccan lighting, beautifully-crafted leather chairs and polished copper tables, the dining room is a stylish place to enjoy gathering to drink and dine.
The Lounge : The heart of an alpine chalet is always the fireplace. The feature fireplace has been designed by the same metalwork artist who created the original lighting throughout the chalet and the magnificent chimney adopts copper hues to tone with with the tables and leather chairs.
Plenty of comfortable seating surrounds the fireplace and overlooks the picturesque mountains. Large copper coffee tables set with twinkling candles make a bright, warm atmosphere for cosy mountain evenings.
On sunny days, the south-facing terrace is a perfect place to enjoy the view or an al fresco meal. Guests also love to recline with a book in the sunshine, overlooking the peaks of Mont Vallon and La Saulire in the Meribel Valley.
The Cinema Room: with large screen adjoins the sitting room and can be darkened with curtains or used as a quiet room to enjoy the views.
Should extra beds be required, the cinema room can be converted to sleep up to 4 people in single beds, with a shower room and WC just across the corridor.
Make the most of the chalet’s spa area: What better way to relax and revive after a great day’s skiing?
Naturally, many of the returning guests choose the chalet for the wellness centre located within the chalet. The flow current in the pool is a great feature for those who love to swim in the mornings or evenings, whilst the jacuzzi is perfect for soaking post-ski muscles. The sauna offers either dry heat or steam and the sensory chromotherapy shower has massage jets with essential oils. The therapy room is home to a massage bed which uses infra-red and vibratory features to provide an automated massage. We can also recommend and book a therapist to visit the chalet for specialist massage and sports treatments.
